Read Aloud Time

Each morning after our Bible lesson, I read aloud to all of the children from a chapter book. We recently finished Rolf and the Viking Bow, which was fabulous! About once a year we will read a book that far outshines the others, and Rolf is that sort of book. Our family is ranking it with Heidi and Johnny Tremain on our all time favorite books list.


Tuesday I began reading The Vikings by Elizabeth Janeway. I guess it is just not as interesting as Rolf.......
