Hiking

For the last two weeks our homeschool co op has been studying the Midwest and Rocky Mountain states. This morning, Tammy, who is an actual backpacker, taught us all about backpacking.....what to take, what to leave at home, how to shower out in the wilderness (you don't!), and how to fit all of your supplies into your backpack. She had some of the neatest products! After a morning of classroom type activities, the children (and Mamas) were ready to hit the trail!
