Today in Boston
Most of you know that Jimmy and I ran the Boston Marathon today.
We are fine physically, but still shaken. Internet is sporadic here, and I am blogging from my phone. I'll post all about this sad day when we get home.
Jimmy and Heather were about a block from the explosions, and I was with the racers who were stopped. I was at mile 25.8.
Please pray for the victims and their families and the medical staff taking care of them.

ReplyDeleteAs soon as I heard about this I started praying for you and my NP who ran the race. She finished the race 5 minutes before this happened and her husband had been in the crowd helping out before hand.
I'm so glad you are safe. What a senseless tragedy.
ReplyDeletePraying for you all, Roan! Love you! Can't wait for all of you to be back home!!!
ReplyDeleteSo glad you and your family are okay. I can't imagine how it must have felt. :(

ReplyDeleteWe were so, so thankful to hear that you all were safe. I am so sorry for what must have been a shocking, frightening experience for you, Jimmy, and friends. We are praying for everyone whose lives were affected in this terrible tragedy!
ReplyDeleteI can't even imagine being there, and am thankful you and your family are safe. Love the peace and joy that exudes from your blog, although I rarely comment. Praising God for your family's complete protection, although being it has to have been horrific no less. Prayers for all those in the running community who are so devastated by this tragedy!
