Menu Monday

Here is this week's menu....full of low calorie, but still good-tasting suppers.

  • grilled hamburgers, (made with lean ground beef, and very small, thin patties, and served with light whole wheat buns), oven fries (made by slicing potatoes, tossing with 1 Tbs. olive oil and roasting in a 400 degree oven)
  • spaghetti (made with angel hair pasta and homemade tomato sauce), salad
  • baked chicken strips, baked sweet potatoes (regular potatoes for some), salad
  • pasta salad (made with wheat blend pasta, broccoli, carrots, tomatoes, cheese, and Italian dressing made with olive oil and red wine vinegar)
  • bean burritos (another Sue Gregg recipe)
  • chicken strip salad
  • homemade pizza

  1. Hey Roan, add some steak seasoning to your fries. We started doing them like this some years back, and my kids like them better than fast food fries! I even do one tray of sweet potato fries for the ones who like them.

I'm enjoying your low-cal menus. I want to post some of the recipes I've been using, too, when I get time.

Thanks for your sweet comment on my blog yesterday.
