To read about how the day began, you can read my daughter's blog post here.
I really do have the sweetest husband and children. They worked very hard to make my day special.
I began the day with an 8 mile run with Jimmy and 3 other dear friends. Then I enjoyed breakfast with my family (see Julie's post), and next I opened my gifts. For lunch, they treated me at my favorite Mexican restaurant. Later this afternoon we attended cross country practice, where I got to run about 2 miles or so with the younger runners. Leah ran too!
For supper we are having red beans and rice (that I put in the crock pot earlier today), and for dessert, brownies! Yummy!
What a great day!
Happy Birthday Blessings to You! God Bless!
