I just made my weekly grocery list, and I am about to go to Kroger. This afternoon I am helping to prepare food for our Homeschool Graduation, and tonight, Sam is graduating from Kindergarten! My very last kindergartener. We had dress rehearsal yesterday, and he looked so big up there.
Tomorrow morning is the Coke 10K--the race that Leah has so diligently trained for. I am really looking forward to running this with her. 8 weeks ago, I would have never believed that I could run again, much less run 6 miles! I ran 5.4 miles earlier this week, so I am confident that I can do the distance. I also signed up for the GumTree 10K next Saturday, and I am going to run that race with Lynn. Also this week I signed up for the St. Jude Half Marathon on Dec. 1. Registration for the Tupelo Marathon and 14.2 Miler in September will be opening soon, and I am undecided. I want to run the 14.2 miler, but it will all depend on my surgery date.
Here is what I hope to blog about when I can catch up:
- our Boston trip
- Olivia's 17th birthday
- my weekend with my college friends
- Sam's kindergarten graduation
- some yummy recipes
- ways to encourage and help a sick friend
- wrapping up our homeschool year
- ideas for next year's homeschool
- pictures of my newly cleaned out refrigerator and pantry
- cleaning projects for the summer
Is there anything else you would like me to write about?
