Joy

I thought I would share an update about our injured little dog, Joy. Joy has made remarkable improvement over the last 8 weeks. She can stand up by herself and even walk a short distance. In the picture below, you can see that she even attempts to come up the stairs into the house. However, she cannot get past the bottom step. We are continuing to keep her inside, but we take her outside a few times a day to visit the other outside dogs and to enjoy the fresh air. She tries to walk and move around more when she is outside. On Tuesday, it will be one year since her initial paralysis.
