Countdown to St. Jude Half Marathon

Some of you have asked me what my training schedule is for the remaining 6 weeks until the race (Dec. 6). Here it is: on the shorter days, after warming up I run continuously. On the long run days I alternate running 1 mile, walking 1 minute.
Week 1: 5,5,4,9
Week 2: 5,5,4 10
Week 3: 5,5,4,11
Week 4: 5,5,4,12
Week 5: 5,5,4 ,8
Week 6: 4,3,3, 13.1 (Race!)

  1. That's an impressive schedule. I remember training and we only did 3 days per week. Good luck with the training and race and hope the knee stays well!
