Menu Monday

Here is the menu for this week. I am still having to rely on quick meals, crock pot meals, or meals that can be prepared earlier in the day and then just heated up at supper time.
Be sure to visit OrgJunkie.com for more menu inspiration.

Supper
creamy Italian chicken and pasta (crock pot), green peas
homemade vegetable soup (crock pot), grilled cheese sandwiches
chicken and rice casserole (in freezer), black eyed peas
beefy noodle casserole (make earlier in day to reheat at suppertime)

That's Monday-Thursday. On Friday, we are attending a birthday party at suppertime.

For lunch, we will be eating leftovers, or homemade pizza.

Breakfast
sausage and cheese muffins
sweet potato muffins
pancakes
cereal or oatmeal
toast

  1. Hey Roan! I always like reading over your menu:)! I thought I would share a very EASY and YUMMY recipe for the crock pot......it is one of Rhett and my boys favorites!.......

*2 packs of lean stew meat ( I buy the ones with all of the fat trimmed off)
*2 cans of golden mushroom soup
*1 package of dry onion soup mix
    *1/2 soup can of water
    *Rice

Combine all ingredients in crock pot (except rice). Cook all day on low. Make the rice when you are ready to eat, and serve meat/gravy over rice. Enjoy!

  2. Hey, Roan!
Your menu for the week looks yummy!
I love that crock pot Italian chicken recipe of yours! It is always a bit hit here!
We can't seem to keep everyone well. We are usually such hearty people, but this has been a year of being in-and-out of doctors' offices with one family member or the other. Crockpot and quick meals help keep supper on the table around here!!
Amanda's recipe sure sounds, doesn't it? I think I'll give it a try!
I just had a moment, but wanted to take a quick glance at your pictures. I knew your kids would have grown - and I was right! Wow! They are so sweet! I know you and Jimmy are so proud of them!
God bless, Roan! I would love to visit with you sometimes!
