I covered my kitchen table with white newsprint and placed markers in paper cups. The children as well as the adults enjoyed drawing Christmas pictures and writing messages. The children also gathered in the schoolroom and completed various crafts, played with blocks, legos, and entertained one another on the piano.
The men and women tended to hang out separately. The men in the kitchen and den, and the women in the dining room. Much laughter was heard throughout the house, and we had a super time!
What a beautiful family!!
ReplyDeleteHappy Wednesday Darling! xo
I'm doing a perfume giveaway right now if you're interested!
Hi Roan, I've stumbled upon your blog through Amanda's blog (i used to go to church with Amanda and Rhett). I just wanted you to know how I enjoy reading it - you are so encouraging and organized!! Also I am trying to start running :), I have done a 5K each May the past 3 years, but I really want to start running on a more regular basis, but I am having such a hard time getting motivated... any suggestions?
ReplyDeleteI have 3 children 10,8,2. Thanks, Milissa Butcher (Senatobia, MS)
I found you from Boo Mama's blog roll.
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of hosting a party a few days before Christmas. It would make Christmas Eve and Day seem less hectic. :)
Nice to meet you!
